I drew this portrait of singer, songwriter, and Canada's fastest gunslinger, Jim Guthrie for the latest issue of Kill Screen Magazine (The sound issue). The magazine contains an interview with Jim about his amazing album Sword & Sworcery LP - The Ballad of the Space Babies, and also features the brilliant art of Superbrothers.

Still Life-abet

I wanted to paint a still-life image, but much like those-trademarked-brand-name-potato-chips-that-come-in-a-tube, I can't stop at just one. So this is the first in a series of 26 alphabet themed mini paintings.

I started with M because tonight I needed to go to the supermarket for milk, pretty easy huh? But now I need to come up with 25 more, which I'm almost certain will be considerably less easy. Suggestions welcome...
